Hot World - It's Not The Same Without The Flame.
Earth's temperature has risen by an average of 0.08° Celsius per decade since 1880. The rate of warming since 1981 is more than twice as fast: 0.18° C per decade. This is largely due to a heavy reliance on fossil fuels such as oil and coal, and the exploitation of these resources by multinational corporations in a desperate attempt to make more money for their shareholders.
The past nine years, 2015 to 2023, were the warmest on record, and 2023 is set to be the hottest year on record. This will result in:
- Increase in bushfires, killing and displacing native animals and humans
- Crop failure, resulting in food scarcity and mass starvation in certain areas of the world
- Flash floods, as temperatures rise and ice melts, forcing the sea levels to rise
- Consistent hazardous weather events, including cyclones, droughts, and more
Petition your government and elected representatives to enact environment friendly solutions to reduce global temperatures. This shirt is:
